Close Jay Barr | National Director of Training
Jay Barr

Jay Barr is an eight year veteran of the automotive industry, working both at the dealership level and with one of the nation's largest finance companies.

Jay spent three years at Security Nissan and utilized his natural charisma and charm to consistently be one of the top salesmen on staff. In no time Jay's top performance accomplishments justified placing him in charge of implementation, where he managed the development of all essential resources: from sales processes to phone scripts and call guides.

Because of his unmatched people skills, Jay was responsible for of all of the dealership's VIP clients and special program buyers. He also worked side-by-side with management assisting in new hires, desklog management and taking T.O.'s.

After leaving Security Nissan, Jay spent five years at Ford Motor Credit before trying his hand at the mortgage and real estate industry -a successful endeavor to be sure.

However, Jay's love for cars brought him back to the automotive industry and into the welcoming arms of iMagicLab. He joined the IML team as a Customer Care agent so as to gain a solid operating knowledge of the software. From there he became Online Trainer before settling in to a role as a National Trainer.

Jay brings an exciting, energetic and unconventional (but highly effective) training style to dealerships nationwide. His unique style presents thought-provoking and stimulating topics in a very focused and entertaining manner. He guarantees that when he comes to your store, you will learn the software and processes that will make your dealership successful -and you'll enjoy every minute of it. And after two years of successfully educating users and dealers all across the country; Jay was chosen to lead the Training Team as the Director of Training in November 2012.

Jay is happily married to his wife Sherri and is the proud parent of four beautiful girls. He enjoys spending time with his family (which he affectionately calls Team Barr) as well as working out and playing all sports that allow him to "talk junk". In his down time, Jay loves shooting pool and watching TV in his Baltimore Ravens inspired man-cave.
